The Substitute Teacher is responsible for carrying out the instructional program and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher ensures continuity of instruction, supervises students, promotes student learning, and maintains classroom management consistent with district expectations. To accomplish these tasks, the Substitute Teacher must work closely with students, staff, administration, and parents of Seaman Schools.
